A disgraceful loophole that any aggrieved ebayer can jump through to sabotage another ebay rival.

*(That ebay condone and will do NOTHING about, despite being informed of this! )

 

It never fails to amaze us ( deplore us actually) when we hear of another sleazy activity on that platform that demosntrates the complete lack of responsibility on ebays part to stop.This example came in from a reader of our site that has been the victim of this attack on his listings on more than one occassion.The lowlife activity is something that ebays allows for simple reasons of course, and these reasons partly overlap with reasons for other unscrupulous activities on their rat infested platform.

 

EBAY DOESN’T CARE !

Yep, they know about and tolerate it and have no strategy to deal with it….. for another simple reason.They have their system configured specifically to allow this, by deliberate intention, this is not some weakness in ebays policies or system that is being exploited by some nasty user.

NOPE.THIS IS ALL EBAY’S DOING IN THE FIRST PLACE TO CREATE THE SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS SUCH A MANIPULATIVE EBAY USER TO EXPLOIT.

 

At the end of the day you cannot expect a rat to behave in any way other than a rat , can you ? So this is why this lies fairly and squarely at the feet of fleebay once again.So, here’s what happened to one of our readers.

He was selling legitimate software businesses that he built from scratch, including all of the programming involved, associated websites, the desktop software themselves, licence management controls, etc etc.Yep, our reader put in so much hard work, effort and time to his ventures and listed these in the business for sale category on ebay.Of  course all it took was  that perfect storm of ebays sinister coming together with in this case an annoyed competitor ( and also an aggrieved abusive buyer out to sabotage) to destroy our readers years of hard work in a few minutes !

Now, our reader being the diligent gent he is, ensured that any new software business owner that purchased his software business would get a full package of sale delivered by paper copy to their address, with full hard copy instructions, download links, passwords etc included in this.

 

ALL DELIVERED TO THE SAID BUYER BY ROYAL MAIL RECORDED MAIL

Of course this did not stop the jealous competator and aggrieved buyer in any way.All it took was a couple of minutes work by them to report the business listings as being in breach of ebay policy ( of course they were not) by offering electronic delivery ( Royal Mail is not electronic delivery) and ebay removed all of our readers software business listings and hard work………….

 

WITHOUT SO MUCH AS EVEN CHECKING IF THE BASIS OF THE REPORT WAS VALID !

YEP, THEY SIMPLY ACCEPT ANY REPORTED LISTING WITHOUT QUESTION!

Here is one of the emails our reader got.He also received removals for different reasons from fake goods to OEM/BETA software, which again is  complete lies from the person who reported these.But hey…ebay dont care!

 

 

 

And here is one of the reasons for removal, citing electronic delivery even though in the listing itself it was clear that delivery was royal mail recorded and a postage amount was specified in the listing !! They also removed listings claiming the software was OEM or beta software, despite it clearly not being either and our reader offering to send them the source code to show he was the legitimate owner, though they did not want to accept that offer of course.

 

 

But how can ebay allow this to happen?

Well it’s very simple.You see, ebay does not have a human even cast their eye over the reported listing.Its too much trouble for them to ask someone at ebay to check if someones hard work, time and effort is valid or indeed worthy of reporting.I guess they simply dont care if its a genuine report or not.THEY DO NOT EVEN GET IN TOUCH TO INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE WITH THE REPORTED PERSON AND THEIR LISTING.It’s all done on autopilot, so to speak.So what they do is configure their system code to AUTOMATICALLY remove the reported listing and generate a generic email using an autoresponder.This ensures that all reported listings ( at least it seems those from selected categories like copyright infringement, digital delivered items, listing practices etc) fall prey to this lousy, lazy, disgraceful practice from ebay.And ebay do this in such an arbitrary and irresponsible  fashion with no thought for who they are damaging, whether the report is genuine or sabotage, or even makes any sense at all.

 

DISGRACEFUL EBAY AND THATS WHY YOU ARE NUMBER ONE IN SHAME BAYS HALL OF SHAME WHERE YOU BELONG & WILL STAY!

When our reader questioned this with fleebay, here is their ridiculous response he got below.Their first agent called Wensel ( our reader calls him weasel, he he ! ) was out of his depth immediately and handed the live chat over to another weasel called Mark Lester ( sure thats not his real name of course) who simply could not answer any of our readers questions without contradicting  and making a fool of himself.In the end they could not specify any legitimate reason for allowing our readers listings to be removed, sticking to their guns that his software was oem/beta even though they had no reason to think that, and were not interested in our readers offer to prove he was the sole author of the software and it was not BETA software.

WHAT THEY DID CONCEDE WAS THESE REMOVAL REQUESTS ARE INDEED REMOVED ON AUTOPILOT!
